Your Briot edger is covered by a comprehensive warranty that includes parts and labor charges for non-maintenance on-site service calls scheduled within one year from the date of purchase.
The machine operator should perform daily cleaning procedures to maintain optimal performance. See the section on cleaning procedures for guidelines. Regular cleaning and maintenance, will ensure that your Briot edger provides years of dependable service.
Briot recommends that you schedule a Preventative Maintenance visit every six months, starting from installation. This is required to maintain your warranty coverage. Regularly scheduled preventative maintenance visits by a Briot technician will keep your equipment performing at optimum productivity levels.
A Preventative Maintenance call is a 2-hour service visit charged at Briot's standard hourly fee. Your Briot technician will clean and adjust the machine, and provide a maintenance checklist to confirm that all parts are in good working order. Additional charges may apply if repairs are required, unless covered under warranty. Parts are billed according to the applicable warranty coverage.
Call or Email us to schedule a Preventative Maintenance Visit.
Briot has developed a special extended protection plan that offers additional parts and service coverage for your Briot edging system beyond the standard 1-year limited warranty. The Briot Assurance Plan offers valuable benefits and excellent peace of mind.
All Briot Axcell and Accura edging systems are eligible for Briot Assurance Plan protection.
When a Briot Assurance Plan is purchased, the owner is entitled to 1 year of special benefits:
- 1-year extended warranty coverage on parts
- 1-year of FREE labor
- One FREE Preventative Maintenance visit annually
- Periodic discounts on consumables throughout the year
A Briot Assurance Plan can extend the life of your investment by insuring that your edging system is properly maintained. And, should you choose to upgrade to a newer Briot edging system, you may transfer any remaining coverage to the new system.
